Why Japanese cars are not powerful engines like German cars. Why???

They make the most of the power and put it on the road. That's what matters the most, and the NSX is a perfect example of that

@Omair Sheikh great, another smart ass. It’s at the point where people are bored and have already switched to other brands. I hope for their sake that this type s is a mind blower to compete well in this segment

355hp and 4100 lbs. I really hope this engine is underrated or it'll be among the slowest cars in the class, just like the 2.0 TLX is near the back of the pack in the 4 cyl segment.

Who cares dude, it'll be fast enough to enjoy driving. You want 500 hp when you're mostly driving on roads with a 50mph speed limit? People bitch about the dumbest things I swear

Your cars always had a bit of practicality. Even the original NSX was the daily driver supercar. Now you have gone and cut out things like spare tires like brands such as BMW. Bring back some practicality. I want the sport performance Honda/Acura was known for but with the reliability AND practicality. TLX Type S checks a lot of boxes but no option for a spare (not even a dealer installed one) is a deal breaker.

@Omair Sheikh I have a 2017 TLX that has the dealer installed spare tire kit. Went to order a 2021 and told them to add in the spare tire kit and they said that there is no option for one. I have had 2 flats in my 2017 and both time the damage was to bad for the seal kit to patch them, I had to put on the spare. If I didn't have it I would have been stranded, waiting on a flat bed. I have owned several Acuras so don't act like you know me.

Imagine not buying a car just because it doesn't have a spare tire. Stupid reasoning. Don't pretend like you were ever interested to begin with

Hi Corey, the TLX Type S does not come with a spare tire however it does come with a Tire Repair Kit. The replacement of the spare tire reduces weight, supporting Acura’s ultimate goal of Precision Crafted Performance. Please speak with your local Acura dealer for more information, you can find your nearest dealer here www.acura.ca/dealerlocator
